Software Installation Guide
Things to keep in Mind : (Each Group Should have one Laptop with following software installed)
We shall share other needed software during the workshop.
1 Install WinAVR-20100110

Change the Destination folder to C:\WinAVR ( By Default it shows as shown in image)
This software works in backend and creates environment for AVR Studio
2 Install AVR Studio
Download Link :

Version :: AVR Studio 4.19 (build 730)
Or
AVR Studio 4.15 (build 623)
3 Install BURN O MAT

Settings To be Done in Burn O MAT
Go to Settings > AVRDUDE
Do the following changes as shown in the image
In AVRDude Options
- From the list of programmer > Select USBASP
- From PORT > Select COM1.
- Apply the Settings> Click on OK > Close all the Screens of Burn O Mat and Restart Again
4. Students with Windows 8/8.1/10 please complete these steps.
- If you are using Windows 8/8.1/10 then please make the changes as per the steps given below. Nothing new will happen , this will just disable the settings so that the software work properly.
Crack for Windows 8/8.1/10 > Follow the steps one by one ( You can note down the steps before starting as laptop will restart)
Search “Change Advanced Start Up” > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Setting > Digital Driver Enforcement > Restart the system > On Start Press Key Numeric 7.
5 . Systems having window 8.1 may encounter o.d file missing error while compiling the program.
Download the file msys.dll file from here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2X6Tot8fKuBYmpXMTRoZkZqbDA/view?usp=sharing
and paste it in C:/WinAVR/utils/bin ( Please check the path properly)
6. Install device driver for USB programmer
Depending on the operating system installed on your laptop (32 but/ 64 bit) Download the exe file of the USB Programmer from here :

If you are using Windows 8/8.1/10 ,make sure you have completed the step 4 first.
For Students attending Sixth Sense Robotics Workshop
Install MATLAB 2010 or 2012 Student Version. (Avoid using Version 2014/15/16 ) You might need internet and download packages during workshop which becomes a very difficult and time consuming job.
